Throughout the day, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, visited several state institutions to congratulate the women working in them on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
On this special day, Osmani also made a visit to the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), writes IndeksOnline.
Along with her special wishes, a joint portrait with the women working in this institution stood out.
The President posted a photo with them, while their identities were kept undisclosed.
More than 50 women working in this institution turned their backs to the camera in order to preserve their anonymity.
This is the message sent by the President:
“Strategic decisions of the Republic of Kosovo often depend on the invisible, yet fundamental work of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI).
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, I was among our hidden heroines, the women of the intelligence field, who are always where they need to be and proudly defend the interests of Kosovo.”
