The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published Hotel Statistics for December 2025, showing an increase in the number of hotel visitors compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to KAS, a total of 68,293 visitors were registered in Kosovo’s hotels during December 2025. Of these, 27,776 were domestic visitors, while 40,517 were foreign visitors.
Compared to December 2024, when 64,380 visitors were recorded, the total number of visitors increased by 6.1 percent.

The total number of overnight stays reached 132,148, of which 71,624 overnight stays (54.2 percent) were made by foreign visitors, while 60,524 overnight stays (45.8 percent) were made by domestic visitors.
Regarding domestic tourism, the Peja region led with the highest number of visitors—9,655 in total—and 26,550 overnight stays. A notable increase in domestic visitors was also recorded in the Pristina and Prizren regions, while a decline was observed in several other regions.

Meanwhile, the number of foreign visitors increased by 2.5 percent compared to December 2024. In total, Kosovo was visited by 40,517 foreign tourists in December 2025, with the largest numbers coming from Albania, Germany, Switzerland, and Turkey.
