Kosovo is known as one of the countries with the highest vehicle traffic.

The lack of metro systems, low bicycle usage, and the chaos typically caused within buses make it almost impossible for citizens to rely on other forms of transportation besides cars.

As a result, many of the country’s residents are forced to own vehicles, often incurring higher family expenses, in order to fulfill their daily obligations.

The need to travel from one place to another by car has also contributed to a higher number of individuals taking driving tests and subsequently obtaining a driver’s license.

2024 saw a significant increase in the number of people acquiring driver’s licenses. In total, 83,579 citizens received their driver’s licenses within the year.
