The aspirant for steering the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Borut Pahor, has stated that if Serbia is indeed behind the Banjska attack, it changes the outlook for achieving a peace agreement.
Pahor made this statement last year at a conference in Montenegro, but he emphasizes to Slovenia’s N1 that it is important to mention it again today: if such reports hold true, it is indeed concerning for the future relations between the two countries.
“I find it important even today: if the official authorities of Serbia are behind these events, were aware of them, supported them, whatever it may be… this is extremely concerning.”
“And it also changes my perspective on how and to what extent an agreement can be reached with the current authorities that will ensure peace, security, prosperity, and regulate some relations.”
