Parliament Accepts the Resignation of Prime Minister Vučević

The Serbian Parliament has today accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Miloš Vučević.

The Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabić, thanked Vučević for carrying out his duties during his time as Prime Minister, as well as for his responsible and courageous behavior, she appreciated, reports Abcnewsalbania.

Vučević submitted his irrevocable resignation on January 28, following a tragedy in Novi Sad. With the resignation of the Prime Minister, the government becomes technical, and the 30-day period for the selection of a new government begins.

If a new government is not formed within the 30-day period, parliamentary elections will be held.
