Parliament of Kosovo Holds Extraordinary Session Today at 17:00

The Assembly of Kosovo will convene an extraordinary session today in Prishtina starting at 17:00, where lawmakers are expected to review several key draft laws in their first reading.

According to the official announcement, the agenda includes 10 draft laws covering a wide range of sectors:

  • Temporary measures on essential products in cases of market destabilization
  • Mandatory health insurance
  • Amendments to the law on accounting, financial reporting, and auditing
  • Draft law on payment services
  • Draft law on the organization of the XXI Mediterranean Games Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games
  • Financing of water resource management
  • Social and affordable housing
  • Citizenship of Kosovo
  • Explosives regulation
  • State Matura exam

The session comes as institutions aim to push forward economic, social, and legal reforms, including market regulation, healthcare improvements, and strengthening financial and education frameworks.
