Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani, during her official visit to Hungary, attended the inauguration of a section of the “Ervin Szabó” library in Budapest, which from now on will bear the name of Kosovo’s historic president, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova.

“The legacy of the Founding Father of the Republic, the historic President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, belongs not only to Kosovo but to all those who believe in the power of justice and the ideal of freedom,” President Osmani wrote.

“That’s why today in Budapest, together with President Rugova’s old friends and new friends of Kosovo, we inaugurated a section of the ‘Ervin Szabó’ library named after our historic President.”

According to Osmani, this act serves as a permanent symbol of remembrance for the vision of the architect of Kosovo’s independence, who led the people of Kosovo with dedication toward freedom and statehood.
