The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo has announced that the recount of ballots is continuing at the Counting and Results Center according to the list of polling stations selected for recount.
Since the process began on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM, and as of Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM, 64 of 914 polling stations have been recounted. These stations are located across various municipalities, including:
- Deçan (5)
- Gjakovë (15)
- Gllogoc (6)
- Gjilan (13)
- Dragash (25)
According to the CEC, results will be updated after the counting of each polling station on the official results platform: CEC Results under QNR > Recount.
Per CEC decisions:
- In 10 municipalities, 100% of polling stations will be recounted: Dragash, Kaçanik, Lespoaviq, Prizren, Skënderaj, Shtime, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Mamushë, and Ranillug.
- In 28 other municipalities, 10% of polling stations will be recounted, including Deçan, Gjakovë, Gllogoc, Gjilan, Istog, Klinë, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenicë, Mitrovicë e Jugut, Lipjan, Novobërdë, Obiliq, Rahovec, Pejë, Podujevë, Prishtinë, Shtërpcë, Suharekë, Viti, Zubin Potok, Zveçan, Malishevë, Junik, Hani i Elezit, Graçanicë, Partesh, Kllokot, and Mitrovicë e Veriut.
This partial recount is part of the CEC’s efforts to ensure accuracy and integrity in the December 28, 2025, snap parliamentary elections.
