The Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP) has imposed fines totaling 35,000 euros on several political parties for violations of the Code of Conduct for Political Entities and Their Supporters during the election campaign. The fines are related to statements made during rallies, where the use of inappropriate language led to sanctions.

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) was fined the highest amount, 20,000 euros, following a complaint by Vetëvendosje (VV). The complaint was made after a video posted by LDK candidate Xheneta Syka, in which she compared Prime Minister Albin Kurti to Adolf Hitler. LDK contested the allegations, claiming the video was not created by them but shared by another person. However, PZAP confirmed the video was found on a local portal and stated that such language violated the law on elections.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) was fined 12,000 euros after a complaint from VV, which claimed that Ramush Haradinaj used offensive and unfounded accusations against political opponents. AAK rejected the complaint, stating the allegations were based on a paraphrased news article.

Additionally, Vetëvendosje was fined 3,000 euros following a complaint by LDK, claiming that Albin Kurti used derogatory language towards LDK during a rally in Peja. PZAP ruled that these statements violated legal provisions on election campaigns.

PZAP also dismissed a complaint from LDK against VV for holding rallies in religious buildings, concluding that it could not be proven that VV used such places for election purposes.

Fined parties have the right to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court within 48 hours of receiving the ruling.
