The leaders of Kosovo’s main parliamentary parties have arrived at the Presidency for a high-stakes meeting with President Vjosa Osmani, aimed at addressing the ongoing institutional deadlock in the Assembly.

According to Reporteri.net, the sequence of arrivals began with Ramush Haradinaj, head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), followed by Memli Krasniqi of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), and Lumir Abdixhiku of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). Prime Minister Albin Kurti, leader of Vetëvendosje (VV), arrived last.

President Osmani convened this meeting at 1:00 PM, inviting the major parties to engage in dialogue in an effort to resolve the parliamentary stalemate, which has led to 16 failed attempts to elect the Speaker of the Assembly and fully constitute the legislative body.

This meeting marks a critical moment in Kosovo’s political landscape, as citizens await tangible steps toward stability and effective governance.
