The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Vetëvendosje (LVV) have reached a coalition agreement for the second round of local elections in the Dragash municipality.
The announcement was made by PDK mayoral candidate Shaban Shabani through a social media post.
“Following an open process of consultations and discussions, a coalition agreement has been reached for the second round of elections between: the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Vetëvendosje! (LV), the Vakat Coalition, and independent candidate Nedzmidin Sejdilar,” Shabani wrote.
Shabani added that prior to the agreement, the parties aligned their programs and governance principles, which will serve as a basis for responsible, inclusive, and citizen-focused administration.
“This agreement demonstrates our commitment to building fair, transparent governance in the best interests of every citizen, without exception,” he emphasized.
The coalition marks a significant move in Dragash ahead of the runoff elections, highlighting cross-party cooperation aimed at strengthening local governance.
