The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), through a media statement, has said that they consider the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo not yet fully constituted, as not all vice-presidents have been elected.
Accordingly, the PDK stated that they consider the invitation to a meeting of the Parliamentary Presidency meaningless and will not participate in the meeting called by Dimal Basha.
“Today, the Speaker of the Assembly declared the constitution of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo completed, without fully implementing Article 67 of the Constitution of Kosovo. For the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Assembly is still not fully constituted because its Presidency has not been elected in its complete constitutional composition. Under these circumstances, the PDK considers the invitation to a meeting of the Parliamentary Presidency, which is not yet constituted, meaningless and will not participate in such meetings, which serve only party agendas and not the interests of the state,” the PDK statement reads.
