The Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PEA) has fined the political entity Serbian List €20,000 for violations of the Code of Ethics and Decorum during the election campaign.

According to the PEA decision, the complaint was filed by the political entity Kosovski Savez, which claimed that in the municipality of Leposaviq, the Serbian List had placed campaign materials in several locations in violation of the law. The Serbian List did not submit a response to the complaint.

The Panel determined that the complaint was justified, noting that the complainant had attached photos as evidence of the promotional materials. The materials had been placed in public areas, including utility poles, parks, bus stations, overpasses, electrical substations, and public roads.

The reasoning states that placing promotional materials without the approval of competent authorities constitutes a violation of election legislation. The PEA has ordered the Serbian List to immediately remove the posters and other election materials, warning that failure to comply could result in additional sanctions.
