The official website of the Peace Board has published a formal document signed by several participating state leaders who pledged to send troops to Gaza as part of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan.
Among the signatories is Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.
The letter of commitment states:
“We, the undersigned, united by a shared responsibility to advance peace and stability, hereby affirm our commitment to support the Peace Board’s International Stabilization Force (ISF) for Gaza, as endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803 of 17 November 2025. We recognize that sustainable peace requires collective resolve, timely action, and burden-sharing in the service of international security.”
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti also addressed the issue, recalling that he had personally granted permission for the Ministry of Defense and the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), General Bashkim Jashari, to attend a conference in Doha, Qatar, regarding participation in the International Stabilization Force for Gaza.
“The Minister of Defense in the previous mandate and the Commander of our Army, General Bashkim Jashari, requested my authorization last year to attend a conference in Doha, Qatar, regarding the international stabilization force for Gaza. As you know, we allocated half a million euros in aid for Gaza, and due to the capabilities of the FSK, we were prepared to participate in this international stabilization force,” Kurti said during a press conference.
Kurti added that alongside the International Stabilization Force, there will also be an international political organization involved, with further details being handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
