The KFOR Regional-West Command, led by Colonel Lorenzo Mangia, hosted a medal ceremony honoring soldiers of the multinational contingent for their exceptional service and professionalism. The event took place at Camp “Villaggio Italia” in Pejë.
During the ceremony, members of the multinational contingent were awarded the NATO medal in recognition of their professionalism, dedication, and distinguished service contributing to peace and stability in Kosovo.
“Colonel Mangia expressed his appreciation for the personnel being honored for their significant contributions to KFOR’s efforts to ensure a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo,” KFOR stated in its announcement.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate under UN Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999), working to maintain a safe environment for all residents of Kosovo, while safeguarding freedom of movement at all times, impartially and without discrimination.
