U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated on Wednesday that the American military is prepared to implement any decision President Donald Trump may make, whether it involves war or peace.
According to The Guardian, during a hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Hegseth emphasized:
“If and when those decisions are made, the Department of Defense is ready to execute them.”
However, it was also noted that Hegseth declined to confirm whether any specific plans for military strikes against Iran have already been prepared.
