The Mayor of Prishtina, Perparim Rama, has confirmed that he will join the protest organized by the platform “Liria ka Emër” on February 17, 2026, at 14:00, at “Skënderbeu” Square in Prishtina.
Rama emphasized that this protest is a national issue, not merely a partisan one, and should be supported beyond political interests.
He added that, in addition to participating in the protest, urban transport will be available free of charge that day.
“So, besides supporting these processes previously, we appreciate and value them and must elevate them beyond political parties. Because this is a national matter. I will be there, and urban transport will be in service of citizens free of charge on the day of the protest,” Rama stated.
