The Serbian counterpart of Besnik Bislimi, Petar Petković, stated before the high-level negotiators’ meeting that without the establishment of the Association, “there will be no normalization of relations,” while continuing to accuse the Kosovo side of avoiding dialogue.
“For us, compromise is not an ugly or forbidden word; perhaps it is so for Prishtina, because if we want an agreement, we need to meet somewhere in the middle,” said Petar Petkovc.
He added, “Everything happening on the ground from Prishtina’s side is that when they see the dialogue is continuing, they take escalatory steps because they want to sidestep the obligations they have.”
