“If Rohde thinks he is cancelling the achievements of the dialogue and rewarding Pristina for an open lie, let him say it clearly. It is incredible that someone in the political and diplomatic community in the EU is even considering Pristina’s accession to the EU. The Council of Europe, at a time when Albin Kurti’s regime is carrying out widespread legal, political and physical violence against Serbs in Kosovo,” Petkovic wrote on the social network “X”.
“The imperative to respect human rights and obligations must be stronger than any short-term political interest.
Because otherwise, Europe, by relativizing and neglecting the position of the serb community in Kosovo, is denying itself,” Petkovic concluded.
