Photo Released of Fehim Sali, Suspected Serbian Spy from Dragash, Arrested Today in Merdare

A photograph of Fehim Sali, who was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of espionage, has been made public. His arrest was carried out in a joint operation by the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), the Kosovo Police, and the Special Prosecutor’s Office.

Fehim Sali is suspected of having cooperated with Serbia’s intelligence agency, the BIA, for an extended period and of maintaining contact with one of its officials, Zhelimir Matović.

He works as a teacher at the Serbian-language “9 May” school in Rapça, Dragash, and previously served on the Consultative Council for Communities within the Office of the President.

He is also suspected of acting as an intermediary for Serbian property and documents, while allegedly being involved in collecting votes for supporters of Aleksandar Vučić.
