A plate for the Driver’s License Department, part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is being installed at the former building of the parallel municipality in North Mitrovica.

The Quint countries opposed the action, stating that the Government did not coordinate with them despite “commitments.”
On Friday, five parallel municipalities operating in the so-called Administrative District of Mitrovica were closed, including Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok, and Leposavic. These municipalities were suspected of issuing falsified documentation.
