The fan group “Plisat” issued a new statement following what they consider a misinterpretation of their previous declaration.

In their statement, they emphasized clearly that they have no—and will not have—any connection with political parties or election campaigns.

“‘Plisat’ fans are not, and will not be, part of any political campaign or party. We have always been, and will always remain, supporters of KF Prishtina only, with no ties to political entities. Any attempt to involve us in non-sport agendas is false and unacceptable,” their statement reads.

At the end, “Plisat” added that they belong to the stands and the city, not politics.

This reaction comes after a post by the current Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, who yesterday shared a video from a meeting he said he had with “Plisat.”

In the video, Rama said:
“Good evening Pristina, I am here in Germia, with the hearts of Pristina, with my hearts, Plisat, with the best. Shall we move four steps forward? I love you.”
