Poland has introduced mandatory security training in schools, which includes weapons handling and first aid training, according to Euronews.

In response to the ongoing war in Ukraine and growing concerns over potential threats from Moscow, the Polish government has decided to implement these measures in upper elementary and secondary schools.

Students as young as 14 will now learn how to shoot, equipping them to handle wartime scenarios and provide emergency assistance.

The curriculum includes lessons on assembling and disassembling firearms, as well as improving accuracy when shooting at targets.

To ensure student safety, the training will not involve live ammunition; instead, laser pistols will be used.
