Poland has officially assumed the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, as announced by the Council’s official page on the social network “X.”

In his inaugural speech, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized that security will be the main focus during this presidency.

“This presidency will be innovative in many ways. It begins in challenging times marked by conflicts, and our task will be to convince the 27 EU member states that Europe can continue to be the safest and most stable place on Earth. Security will be our top priority for the next six months,” stated Tusk.
