Police officers from the Directorate of Special Intervention Units have saved the life of a woman who was found lying unconscious on the side of the Vushtrri-Mitrovica highway, reports RKS News.
According to the Kosovo Police, the officers provided immediate first aid upon encountering the unconscious person.
Thanks to their quick and professional intervention, the woman was stabilized and kept under control until the ambulance arrived.
“This proves that police officers, despite their many responsibilities and duties in the field, are always present to care for and save the lives of citizens.
These actions demonstrate the operational effectiveness of our officers, which is also the result of advanced and professional training, including training provided by our strategic partners such as the United States of America,” the Police stated.
