Bojan Jevtić, a police official holding the position of deputy commander and head of operations in a police structure in northern Kosovo, has been arrested as part of an ongoing anti-espionage operation.
The operation is being conducted by the Special Prosecution, in cooperation with the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA) and the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK). Reporteri.net learned the identity of the arrested official from sources close to the action.
The Special Prosecution had confirmed the operation earlier this morning, stating that more details would be released upon its conclusion due to the sensitive nature of the investigation. The Public Prosecutor’s Office affirmed its commitment to undertaking all necessary investigative actions in accordance with current laws.
