The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has confirmed an ongoing police operation in the municipalities of Zubin Potok and Zveçan, targeting multiple locations under suspicion of serious criminal offenses.
According to the official statement, police investigators, acting on a court order, are conducting raids in nine locations as part of an investigation into several crimes, including:
- Endangering United Nations personnel or associated staff
- Aggravated murder
- Assault on an official person during the execution of duty
The operation is being led by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes, with support from other specialized police units.
The Special Prosecution stated that all investigative actions are being conducted in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code, and that the public will be informed with more details once the operation concludes.
