Police in the Gjilan region have provided additional details regarding a drone discovered near the village of Muçibabë.
According to Ismet Hashani, the drone was found crashed on the ground, not actively flying or recording.
Speaking on the program “tre8tre,” Hashani said that investigations are ongoing and that the origin of the drone is still unknown.
“After receiving the information, the Kosovo Police went to the scene and secured the device. Investigations into the case are continuing, and we do not yet have information about where the device came from. This village is located near the border, close to the border crossing with Serbia. We received the information through our operational channels and found the drone on the ground. Further investigations will determine how the drone ended up there,” he said.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the drone’s origin, while investigative procedures continue.
