Kosovo Police vehicles were seen stationed outside the residence of Fatmir Sheholli, who was arrested earlier today on suspicion of espionage.
The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) confirmed that Sheholli was detained in the Prishtina region, with the Assistance of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI).
According to the prosecution, Sheholli is being charged with the criminal offense of espionage.
Under the order of the Special Prosecution, Sheholli has been placed under 48-hour detention, while raids are being conducted at his residence to secure further evidence related to the case.
