Police Raid in Leposaviq: Nearly 6 Million Dinars, $57,000, and €10,000 Seized

The Kosovo Police reported that following raids on a bank and the Treasury branch of Serbia in Leposaviq on September 12, significant amounts of money were confiscated.

According to the police report, the operations were conducted under suspicion that financial institutions were involved in illicit activities.

During the raid, the following items were seized:

5,772,313.00 Serbian dinars
57,626.00 US dollars
10,835.00 euros
2,790.00 Swiss francs
Two computer towers
Two DVRs for security cameras
Additionally, several seals and documents indicating illegal operations of these institutions were also seized. The case has been classified as money laundering and misuse of economic authorizations.
