Police Conduct Raids in Varagë, Zubin Potok, Seize Hunting Rifles and Confiscate Weapons

Kosovo Police have carried out another round of raids today along the Ibër-Lepenc canal in the village of Varagë, Zubin Potok.

Veton Elshani, Deputy Director of Police for the Northern Region, stated that the raids resulted in the seizure of three hunting rifles. However, no arrests were made during the operation.

“Today, we conducted a terrain inspection along the canal in Varagë, as well as raids. We seized three hunting rifles, but there were no arrests or detentions. The inspection was carried out with the K-9 unit and other police units, and it has now concluded,” Elshani said.

Earlier this week, on Saturday, the Kosovo Police arrested eight suspects during a large operation in the northern region. Additionally, police announced the confiscation of weapons, including explosives, in that area.
