An explosive device was thrown near the former illegal municipal office in Leposavić after midnight.
According to the Kosovo Police, the device is suspected to be a stun grenade. Relevant units have been dispatched to the scene.
“The Kosovo Police received information that after midnight, near the former illegal municipal office in Leposavic, an explosive device, suspected to be a stun grenade, was thrown. Police units immediately went to the scene to conduct examinations and investigations related to the incident. No injuries have been reported, and investigations are ongoing by the competent police units,” the police said.
Meanwhile, last night the police carried out an operation in northern Kosovo which, according to their statement, concluded with the cessation of illegal activities and the closure of five illegal municipal offices in northern Kosovo, including:
The district of Mitrovica,
The illegal municipality of Mitrovica,
The illegal municipality of Zvecan,
The illegal municipality of Zubin Potok, and
The illegal municipality of Leposavic.
