The Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, told the media that the police search in two schools in Leposaviq was conducted based on information about “illegal activities,” which was the reason for the search.
However, Elshani announced that the search did not result in any findings.
“There was information that something illegal was there. Together with the school supervisors, we were there and conducted a search,” he said.
When asked specifically about what the “illegal activities” were, Elshani did not provide further explanation.
“What could be illegal. It was sufficient information for us to go to that place and investigate. We did not find anything,” he said.
