Patrol units in Muqiverca, based on previously obtained information, carried out an operation last night aimed at preventing smuggling from Serbian territory toward the village of Hodonoc in Kamenica.

Rks News reports that the operation resulted in the identification and stopping of a suspicious vehicle transporting smuggled goods.

Sources from IndeksOnline state that the stopped vehicle was a Jeep Cherokee with Serbian license plates, driven by the suspected person, I.M.

During a detailed inspection of the vehicle, authorities found goods suspected to be of Serbian origin, including around 300 kg of frozen meat, a considerable quantity of beer, various chocolates, sacks of vanilla, and different types of coffee products.

All of these items lacked proper customs documentation and had been brought illegally into Kosovo.

Relevant units immediately launched an investigation into the case, while the goods were seized.
