Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has requested that the first item on the agenda of tomorrow’s parliamentary session be held in private so that he can make a statement regarding “national security.”

In a post on X, Tusk said he had asked the Speaker of the Sejm to convene a private session to share “urgent information related to national security.” He did not provide further details about the content of his statement, according to The Guardian, as reported by Gazeta Express.

Poland has faced increasing pressure from Russia in recent months, including a drone attack in September and repeated sabotage attempts, such as a railway sabotage attack last month, which Polish authorities described as “state terrorism” by Moscow.
