The Assembly of Kosovo will hold its 30th consecutive session tomorrow. No changes are expected to occur during this session either.

Regarding this political deadlock, President Vjosa Osmani had previously engaged a few weeks ago.

On May 15, Osmani invited political leaders to a meeting to discuss the deadlock, but no agreement was reached between the parties.

“Following the meeting held on May 15, 2025, which was the first consultative meeting, the President again invited the party leaders to a second consultative meeting, this time regarding the organization of local elections. During this second meeting, the President directly reiterated her invitation that if political parties are interested in further consultations regarding the constitution of the Assembly of Kosovo, she is ready to hold separate meetings with each of them. The President’s invitation still stands if the party leaders are interested,” said Bekim Kupina, Media Advisor.

Today, the Presidency of Kosovo informed Indeksonline that the legal team of the Presidency has prepared a draft submission that could be sent to the Constitutional Court regarding the current situation.

“As for the Constitutional Court, the President’s legal team has prepared a draft submission that could be addressed to the Court, but we are awaiting the Court’s ruling on the admissibility of the request submitted by AAK, as this will clarify issues regarding the admissibility of a case that would be referred by the President. This is not about the merits of the case but solely procedural aspects, meaning admissibility,” Kupina added.
