Prattipati in the North, Meets Municipal Mayors and Other Representatives – U.S. Embassy Reveals What They Discussed

The Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Anu Prattipati, visited northern Kosovo today and met with mayors of Serb-majority municipalities and other representatives, the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo announced.

“Chargé d’Affaires Anu Prattipati visited northern Kosovo today, where she met with Kosovo Serb mayors and opposition councilors to discuss the current political situation and the challenges facing their communities,” the embassy said in a statement.

The U.S. Embassy stated that in Zvecan, Prattipati met with Mayor Milović “to discuss local development and opportunities for cooperation.”

“Meanwhile, in Leposavić, the Chargé d’Affaires met with Mayor Todić to discuss economic development and visited the local winery Kantina Lakićević to hear from its owners about the role businesses play in creating jobs and supporting regional prosperity,” the statement said.
