Today, the Central Election Commission (CEC) certified the results of the parliamentary elections held on February 9, 2015.
With this, the legal timelines for calling the constitutive session of the new Assembly of Kosovo by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, have begun.
The Media Advisor to the Presidency, Bekim Kupina, told Indeksonline that the constitutive session will be called within the constitutional deadline.
“The constitutive session of the Assembly resulting from the February 9 elections will be called by President Osmani within the constitutional deadline,” said Kupina.
According to the final certified results, the winner of the February 9 elections is the Vetëvendosje Movement with 42.30%, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 20.95%, the Democratic League of Kosovo with 18.27%, the AAK-Nisma coalition with 7.06%, and the Serbian List with 4.26%.
