President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, expressed that the whole world prays for Saint Mother Teresa.
“As Albanians, we are proud to have given the world a holy and noble figure, a symbol of mercy, love, and care for the vulnerable,” Begaj wrote in a social media post.
He added:
“Saint Mother Teresa is part of our national spirit, given to humanity to heal wounds and bring hope where it is lacking. She taught us that even small acts of kindness have the power to change the world. Let us perform a good deed every day!”
Mother Teresa, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was canonized on September 5, 2016, by Pope Francis, recognizing two miracles of healing attributed to her after her death in 1997.
