The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, has extended his wishes for Eid al-Adha (Kurban Bajram).
In a Facebook post, President Begaj stated that Eid al-Adha is a timeless testimony of how sacrifice, patience, and love bring people inner peace, helping them overcome egoism, hatred, and greed.
“Eid al-Adha is the day when Muslim believers draw closer to God; it is the celebration of sincere sacrifice and faith in God. It is a living proof of how sacrifice, patience, and love give people their inner peace and defeat egoism, hatred, and greed,” he wrote.
He concluded by saying:
“From the heart, I wish all Muslim believers and all Albanians more kindness and joy in their families! Happy Eid al-Adha and may you always be under God’s protection!”
