Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, will hold a press conference to address the recent statements by former U.S. envoy Richard Grenell immediately upon her return from the United States.
This was confirmed to Tëvë1 by Bekim Kupina, President Osmani’s media advisor.
Grenell had sharply criticized President Osmani’s remarks, which referenced President Donald Trump’s assertion that he had prevented a conflict between Kosovo and Serbia “in recent weeks.” Grenell labeled Osmani’s comments as a “manipulation of Donald Trump’s words.”
Grenell argued that it was “absurd” to suggest anything new, contending that Trump’s statements referred to the period of the Washington Agreement. He publicly stated, “Shame on you, Vjosa Osmani, for manipulating President Donald Trump’s words.”
