Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani arrived in Sinj by Black Hawk helicopter for a meeting, where she was invited by Croatian President Zoran Milanović.
Osmani later toured Sinj accompanied by her Croatian counterpart, according to footage released by Croatian media.
Osmani is set to attend the traditional “Sinjska Alka” event, under the patronage of the Croatian President.
“The arrival of Osmani in Sinj was arranged in advance with the leadership of the Alkar Society, which in recent years has sought to internationalize this traditional event of the ‘Knights of Sinj’ and promote it beyond Croatia’s borders,” announced the Croatian President’s office earlier.
During her stay in Sinj, President Milanović and President Osmani will visit the exhibition “Vanja Radauš and Stipe Sikirica – Dialog between Teachers and Students,” curated by exhibition expert Ana Žanko and Gallery Sikirica Director Dragana Modrić, according to Croatian media reports.
“Sinjska Alka” is a manifestation that honors the sacrifice and bravery of Croatian soldiers in defense of their homeland.
