During her working visit to Belgium, President Vjosa Osmani held a ceremony at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo for the presentation of the Presidential Order to the late President of the Belgian Senate, Anne Marie Lizin.
On this occasion, President Osmani handed over the posthumous Order of Independence to Mrs. Lizin’s husband.
In the presence of family members and close friends, President Osmani emphasized that this is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the values of freedom, democracy, and Kosovo’s independence.
“The extraordinary contributions of Anne Marie Lizin have left an indelible mark on our nation, and her dedication to our people will never be forgotten,” President Osmani said.
“Although she is no longer with us, her spirit and work continue to inspire us as we build a stronger Kosovo,” Osmani added.
