The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has begun meetings with the leaders of parliamentary parties in an effort to resolve the political deadlock. The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, was the first to meet with the president on Wednesday.
Kurti did not give any statements to the media upon entering the meeting with President Osmani.
Following her meeting with Kurti, President Osmani will continue her consultations with the other party leaders. She is expected to meet with Memli Krasniqi of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Lumir Abdixhiku of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), and finally, Ramush Haradinaj of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK).
The following day, Osmani is scheduled to hold meetings with representatives of minority community parties.
