President Osmani Bids Farewell to Slovenian Ambassador Minca Benedejčič

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a farewell meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Kosovo, Minca Benedejčič, marking the conclusion of her diplomatic mission in the country.

President Osmani expressed her deepest gratitude for Ambassador Benedejčič’s valuable contribution to strengthening Kosovo–Slovenia relations, as well as her dedication to advancing bilateral cooperation across various fields.

During Ambassador Benedejčič’s tenure, numerous high-level visits were realized between the two states, further consolidating interstate ties and reflecting the mutual friendship and solidarity that characterizes the relationship between the peoples of Kosovo and Slovenia.

In this context, President Osmani praised Slovenia’s consistent support for Kosovo—from its most challenging historical moments to the present—particularly through its backing of Kosovo’s efforts to join the Council of Europe, the European Union, NATO, and other international organizations.

Thanking Ambassador Benedejčič for the excellent cooperation throughout her mandate, President Osmani wished her great success in her future endeavors.
