President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has been honored with the Bonifacio VIII Award by the Bonifacian Academy.
Through a video message, President Osmani announced that she was awarded the Bonifacio VIII Award last night in Anagni the City of the Popes as recognition of her institutional commitment to peace, as well as her efforts in promoting intercultural and interfaith cooperation.
On this occasion, President Osmani stated that the award reinforces her dedication to justice, peace, and human dignity as enduring values.
“In the spirit of the values that form the foundation of this prestigious Academy placing justice, dignity, and peace at the forefront—this recognition, which has previously been awarded to Pope John Paul II, strengthens my commitment to these lasting principles,” Osmani declared.
