The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held a meeting in New York with U.S. Congressman Keith Self, who also serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe in the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
The announcement was made by President Osmani herself through a Facebook post, where she praised the congressman’s continuous support for Kosovo.
“During my stay in New York, I had the pleasure of meeting a great friend of Kosovo, Congressman Keith Self, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe of the House Foreign Affairs Committee,” Osmani wrote.
In her post, the President added:
“Always grateful for his unwavering support for Kosovo and our people.”
This meeting comes as part of President Osmani’s official visit to the United States, where she is attending high-level events and holding talks with international representatives who strongly support Kosovo’s role on the global stage.
