The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the head of EULEX, Giovanni Pietro Barbano.
It was reported that Osmani and Barbano discussed recent security developments and the rule of law, with a particular focus on the situation in the north along the border with Serbia.
“President Osmani and EULEX Chief Barbano also discussed the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and EULEX, within EULEX’s mandate for monitoring, mentoring, and advising,” stated the presidential announcement.
Furthermore, it was noted that Osmani reiterated the commitment of Kosovo’s institutions to uphold law and order, as well as public safety throughout the territory.
