President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, officially sent Kosovo’s athletes, Kiana Kryeziu and Drin Kokaj, to represent the country at the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, presenting them with the national flag in a symbolic gesture.
In her remarks, President Osmani wished the athletes success and highlighted the dedication, pride, and commitment with which they will represent Kosovo on the world’s premier winter sports stage.
“Success, and carry the flag of the Republic high!” Osmani wrote, emphasizing the government’s institutional support for Kosovar athletes participating in international competitions.
This gesture underscores Kosovo’s continued presence and growing participation in global sporting events, inspiring young athletes nationwide.
