President Vjosa Osmani emphasized that Kosovo must become a member of Interpol as soon as possible, underlining the importance of integrating the Kosovo Police into international security frameworks.
Speaking during the 26th-anniversary ceremony of the Kosovo Police, Osmani praised the officers as highly professional, highlighting their readiness to ensure domestic security and participate in international peace and security missions.
“Our police are prepared to contribute to global security missions, placing Kosovo on the map of international partnerships,” Osmani stated.
She further stressed that Kosovo’s membership in Interpol and other international organizations remains essential:
“This is where our Police belong—among professional forces that protect peace, order, and security worldwide.”
